Unlock Every Vision in Final Fantasy Resonance: Complete Guide & Tips

All Visions in Final Fantasy Resonance (& How to Get Them)

Quick Rundown

Final Fantasy Resonance hands you 26 collectible Visions — think of them as pocket-sized nostalgia generators. You can slot one Vision per party member to grant cool battle skills, and you’ll need Magicite to level each Vision and unlock fancier tricks. The best part: none of them are missable, so you can hunt at your own chaotic pace.

How the Shrine Quizzes Work (Spoiler: Chill)

Most Visions hide out in little shrines on the overworld. Walk into a shrine, answer three quiz questions about the character, and boom — Vision unlocked. The quiz is for flavor only; your answers won’t change rewards or the plot, so feel free to speedrun the personality test with reckless confidence.

Why You Should Care

Collecting every Vision nets you the Will Crystallized trophy/achievement, which is a fancy way of saying you’re a completionist legend. Also, different Visions shift your combat options, so mixing and matching is part of the fun.

Chapter 1 Finds

Tronn — Starts unlocked; no treasure map needed, just mystery and destiny.

Leah — Also unlocked automatically early on. They’re basically your onboarding buddies.

Warrior of Light — Shrine found in the Sanctum of Light around the Grandshelt area. Classic knight energy.

Terra — Swing by the Sanctum of Light southwest of Felicitas to nab this one.

Cloud — A Sanctum sits far west of the Village of Kol; Cloud’s shrine is chilling there.

Chapter 2 Adventures

Zidane — After you leave Mt. Thunderclap, cross a few bridges and you’ll stumble onto his sanctum.

Onion Knight — Enter Mt. Thunderclap from the southern gate, hug the left path toward Dirnado and you’ll find the Onion Knight shrine.

Noctis — Found in Dirnado, to the west of the Mobliz Shipyard. Royal vibes and royal hair.

Chapter 3 Hotspots

Firion — In Olderion; head a little northwest from town to discover his shrine.

Squall — Also in Olderion, up northeast of Aquapolis. Bring a jacket and an attitude.

Tidus — In Olderion as well, sitting west of Aquapolis waiting for you to show up.

Chapter 4 Stops

Shantotto — Travel to Zoldaad and look northeast of Mozul Station for a tiny magic EMP (a shrine).

Cecil — West of the Rebel Hideout in Zoldaad; go say hi to his plaque or whatever the game uses to summon Visions.

Y’shtola — South of the Weapons Factory in Zoldaad. Wise, calm, and probably judging your gear choices.

Chapter 5 & Mid-Game

Camille — In Zoldaad. Finish the “Call from Beyond” side quest and talk with the residential district NPC on the left to unlock her.

Wilhelm — Found in Zoldaad Castle Plaza after completing the “O General! My General” side quest; chat with Ozetta near the juggler once other story bits are done.

Sephiroth — A late challenge: appears at Whirlpool Hollow near Grandshelt from Chapter 5 onward. You’ll need to beat him in a boss fight (he’s high level, so come prepared).

Clive — Available from Chapter 5 onward in Grandshelt; use the Airship and land southwest of Mitra to reach his shrine.

Lightning — Found in Mysidia, southeast of Magiapolis. Sword, lightning, dramatic cape optional but recommended.

Bartz — Also in Mysidia, up north from Magiapolis. Casual adventurer energy.

Victoria — Complete the “Victoria Revivified” subquest in Magiapolis and speak with the local black mage near the shops to get her Vision.

Vaan — In Mysidia, west of Magiapolis (just a bit south of Victoria’s shrine). Tends to hang out where the action is.

Amelia — In Zoldaad. Finish the “Errand’s End” subquest (unlocks after “Token Legacy”) and check the message board area near the Imperial Hotel for directions.

Aileen — Located in Dilmagia. Complete the “Forger of Will” side quest by speaking to a gossiping NPC by the entrance; the quest ends with a three-question bit. The choices are basically flavor — pick whatever feels dramatic.

Chapter 7 and Late-Game Picks

Charlotte — Found in Grandshelt’s Grandport Harbor; finish the “Shield of the Weak” side quest and talk to Charlotte by the docks.

Ayaka — In the Kingdom of Pharm (Town of Sian). Complete the “Admirable Apprentice” subquest and chat with the house-front NPC to the north to claim her Vision.

Extra Notes for Trophy Hunters

Because none of the Visions are missable, you can comfortably explore and return later with better gear if a particular shrine is tucked behind a tough area. If you want the Will Crystallized trophy, just keep a running checklist — and maybe a slightly ridiculous hat for formality.

Final Tip

Mix Visions into your party loadout for giggles and strategy. Some Visions boost survivability, some supercharge offense, and a few just let you flex your fan-service forming. Either way, enjoy the shrine-hopping — it’s the perfect excuse to revisit iconic Final Fantasy faces.
