A Warm Place to Rest Quest Guide: Complete Marks & Rewards in Arc Raiders

A Warm Place to Rest Quest (Signs of Survivors) — Arc Raiders

A Warm Place to Rest — Quick Overview

Think of this quest as a scavenger hunt with a mild case of map-based wanderlust. You pick up “A Warm Place to Rest” from Apollo, and it sends you on a two-part jaunt across the Buried City. The objectives are forgiving: you don’t have to finish everything in one run. That said, the quest can feel a bit odd because you find an item in one corner of the map and then hoof it to the opposite side for the next step.

Where to Begin

After accepting the quest, load into the Buried City map and head for the Abandoned Highway Camp — it’s on the southwest side. Keep an eye out for a large bus parked near the highway waypoint. There’s a backpack sitting on the bus steps that you need to interact with to tick off the first objective.

Objective Two: The Grave in the Ruins

Once you’ve nabbed the backpack, your next stop is slightly southeast of the Buried Properties. Look for a crumbling building with a lone grave smack in the middle. Interact with the grave to finish the second objective. When you’re done, extract back to Esperanza to return to the main menu and prepare to turn the job in.

Turning It In

Go to the vendors tab on the main menu to hand the quest back to Apollo. That’s the final step to actually claim your loot — no dramatic ceremony, just sweet, sweet rewards.

Helpful Tips (Because Getting Loot While Getting Shot At Is Fun)

Be aware that the Highway area is pretty open, so Snitches or enemy players could spot you while you’re rummaging around the bus. If you like living dangerously, bring whatever you want — a free loadout is perfectly fine for this. Move quickly, use cover, and don’t do anything heroic unless you’re paid in rare cosmetics.

Rewards You Walk Away With

Completing the quest nets a tidy little bundle of items: a pair of Goggles (Radio Renegade Variant), three Noisemakers, five Blue Light Sticks, and one Rosary. Not exactly a golden crown, but useful and stylish in their own post-apocalyptic way.

Final Notes

Short and to the point: it’s a two-stop quest that’s easy to complete if you know where to go. It’s forgiving about rounds, so if you get interrupted by gunfire or cosmic mischief, you can always come back later and finish the other part. Happy looting — and try not to make eye contact with the Snitches.
