All Shops and Establishments in Tomodachi Life: A Dream Life
Welcome to the island where Miis gossip, fall in love, and buy terrible snacks at odd hours. Beyond the eavesdropping and melodrama, Tomodachi Life: A Dream Life packs a bunch of unlockable shops and hangouts. Each place gives your Miis something fun (or weird) to do — from redecorating homes to selling questionable treasures gleaned from mini-games.
How to unlock shops and buildings
There are 13 places to discover across the island. Most open up as you add more Miis or nudge them into friendships and relationships. Some require finishing small tasks or collecting specific items. Think of it as reward therapy for population growth and social chaos.
Wish Spring
Unlock by having at least one Mii on the island and helping that Mii with a problem. The Wish Spring trades your cuddle currency for new toys, buildings, interiors, and other goodies — basically a vending fountain of desires.
Supermarket
Available early once you have a Mii and solve a problem. This is the place your Miis go when they’re hungry or when snacks are needed to fuel drama. Buy food, avoid shopping cart collisions.
Clothing Store
Unlocked after you welcome three Miis. Fancy outfits, ridiculous costumes, and new looks are sold here — perfect for makeover montages or dressing a Mii like a taco for reasons only they understand.
Renovation Center
Opens after you have four Miis and get two of them to become friends. This shop sells interior items so you can redecorate Mii homes and transform that humble abode into something slightly less tragic.
Urban Planning Center
Show off your island flex after you hit five Miis. Here you can buy items to change the island layout and add decorations. Great for when you’re feeling architect-y or passive-aggressively rearranging public benches.
Design Studio
Populates once you have six Miis. This is the creative hub where you can craft custom items, whip up new meals, and design clothes. Unleash your inner designer and make things your Miis will either adore or secretly hate.
Morning Market
Opens when you reach eight Miis. A daily rotating stall of oddities and surprises — every morning brings a new mystery buy. It’s the island’s version of “what did I even purchase?”
News Center
Unlocked at seven Miis. The island runs its own news show here, so you’ll get updates on the latest scandals, events, and whether the Ferris wheel is flirting with the restaurant.
Photo Booth
The picture place becomes available when ten Miis become friends. Use it for cheesy group photos, awkward couple shots, or memorializing that time someone wore a hat shaped like a potato.
Treasures
Appear once you create treasures in the customization features. This is where you can sell the little trinkets you’ve crafted or collected — a classy little market for your island’s hand-made curios.
Tomoria Restaurant
Opens at eight Miis. A communal spot where your residents gather, chat about their lives, and maybe spill tea over dessert. Perfect for group dates, heated debates, and suspiciously long lunches.
Pawn Shop
Show up after you’ve earned a couple of treasures from mini-games. If you’ve got items lying around that don’t spark joy, trade them here for cash — the quickest way to fund more chaotic island projects.
Ferris Wheel
This amusement ride unlocks once you have two couples on the island. It functions like another social hotspot: romantic spins, awkward small talk at the top, and excellent views for plotting your next island upgrade.
That’s the rundown — thirteen spots to unlock, each adding flavor and chaos to island life. Now go populate, meddle, and watch your Miis invent new reasons to visit the pastry aisle at midnight.
