Worldwalker Previews Start May 13 + Patch 3.7.0 Notes

The next Legends of Runetera expansion Worldwalker is coming later this month! Jhin will be making his debut on May 13 on the official Legends of Runeterra Twitch channel. As teased previously on the 2022 Roadmap, Jhin, the Virtuoso will be a four-cost champion and will have special deck building rules, allowing players to put cards into their deck from any region (along with the other three new champions).

The expansion will feature new keywords, a total of 65 cards including four new champions, and Path of Champions 2.0.

To kick off spoiler season, join us on Friday, May 14 at 12:00AM GMT+8 for a live, interactive reveal stream hosted by Casanova (@CasanovaCasts)! In this hour-long stream, we’ll be debuting the Worldwalker trailer and giving viewers the opportunity to directly influence the first card reveals of the season. Theorycrafters – you’re going to want to tune in.

Developer Q&A

Mid-way through the reveal stream, we’ll have a short intermission where we’ll be joined by Worldwalker design leads RiotIAmWalrus & Tyler Morgan to provide some extra background on Worldwalker and answer some questions from the community! Submit your own question using this form – we won’t have time to get to every individual question asked, but we’ll be consolidating similar questions to answer as many as possible during the Q&A.

Reveal Schedule

You’re not going to want to miss the live event, but if you can’t make it, don’t worry! The day 1 reveals will be available on Mobalytics, DAK.gg, and many other partner sites a few hours after the stream ends. After that, tune in every day on official Legends of Runeterra social channels for daily reveals leading up to the release of Worldwalker later this month!

Patch 3.7.0 Notes

This patch, we’re gearing up for the release of the next expansion and focusing on bug fixes & various quality of life updates. That expansion is launching in patch 3.8.0, coming later this month, and will also include a change to Play / Cast rules for copied spells from cards like Taric, Karma, Jayce, and Mirror Mage to count as “Played” spells based on feedback from the last patch. Thanks to everyone who has sent feedback in so far – we’ll continue to keep close watch on it!

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where Malphite’s Rockslide skill was missing a Prismatic version.
Fixed a visual issue with the Lagoon of Legends board where water FX was splashing over the center dividing line.
Fixed some issues causing players to crash while attempting to reconnect.
Fixed an issue causing the screen to briefly dim when the opponent plays burst spells.
Fixed an issue causing spells to display the terms “Cast” and “Play” inconsistently.
Fixed a visual issue causing buffs to display incorrectly when a unit is recalled.
Updated AI opponents to prevent some invalid actions from occurring.
Updated localization for several strings that were missing translations in some languages.
