Arcane, an animated television series set in the League of Legends universe, is coming soon to Netflix on November 6, 2021! Riot Games is generating more hype for the show as we celebrate various events and rewards across their games. RiotX Arcane is “a cross-game, cross-platform, cross-WORLD experience” to tie everything together, and here’s everything we know about the event so far for Legends of Runeterra. For more information, visit the official websites:
New Champion Expansion
As previously announced in the Legends of Runeterra 2021 Roadmap, we’ll be getting a new expansion with Patch 2.19 on November 10, which is most likely tied to Arcane! Jayce has been confirmed as the new champion, also as shown in the announcement trailer, and we will be getting some thematic support cards from Piltover & Zaun.
Like the previous Sentinels of Light event, a “Mega Event Pass” will also be available, and we will keep you updated once we know more!
The Path of Champions
As we say goodbye to the current Lab of Legends line up, we will be getting a new permanent PvE mode called The Path of Champions. Similar to The Saltwater Scourge, we will be following the journey of our favorite champions Jinx & co in Piltover and Zaun. Make sure you finish the current Lab of Legends before the next patch!
RiotX Arcane Interactive Web Novel
You can go further and explore the rest of the ecosystem in the narrative adventure on the RiotX Arcane website, as it evolves with every new episode. You’ll get in-game rewards for completing missions beginning on November 7, with additional in-game rewards becoming available starting November 15. For Legends of Runeterra:
- November 11 – December 1: Champion Card
- November 17 – December 1: Summoner Icon
You may even find some easter eggs in the interactive web novel! The “hidden” RiotX Arcane Prime Gaming rewards run from November 1 to November 30, and you can claim a Legends of Runeterra Prismatic Chest right now.
Watching Arcane’s premiere on November 6 either on the Twitch stream (or a participating co-streamer such as our very own eMOEtional), or via Arcane.com (make sure you are logged in) will also reward you with a bunch of in-game items, including the previously datamined Jayce “Fascinating” emote for Legends of Runeterra.
This is a developing story – please check back for further updates!
