Most Successful Archetypes

Tier 1 has seen a couple of changes. Fizz Samira and Teemo Tristana DE retain their spots in Tier 1, while Gnar Tristana BW falls to Tier 2 after its win rate dropped below 55%. Jinx Samira joins Tier 1 after a successful performance this past week.
- Tier 2 (Nasus SI, Teemo Tristana Gnar BW, Teemo Tristana NX, Karma Sett PZ, Vayne Aatrox Quinn, Ashe LeBlanc, Ekko Jinx (SH), Illaoi Jarvan IV, Heimerdinger Jayce (SI), Shen Jarvan IV, Pantheon Samira, Malphite Taliyah, Maokai Nautilus, Pyke Rek’Sai, Gnar Norra NX, Swain Illaoi, Norra Veigar, Samira Varus, Senna Veigar, Samira Kennen, Garen Kai’Sa J4)
There is a lot of versatility in Tier 2, with several different decks proving successful on the ranked ladder. Kennen Samira and Garen Kai’Sa J4 join Tier 2 after an impressive performance this past week in the Master rank.
- Meme Tier: Teemo Caitlyn PZ has been a popular choice on the ranked ladder but still holds a low win rate. The Frejlord version is gaining more traction and has a better win rate.
- Balance Watch: Fizz Samira dominates the ranked ladder, with the archetype returning with full force, and the nerfs to All Out! and Wiggly Burblefish proving insufficient to keep the archetype under control. Prize Fight and Bandle Gunners have proven to be a potent combination that can be difficult to interrupt, mainly due to Bande Gunners’ spell shield.
Underplayed and Overplayed Archetypes
In the chart below, I’ve plotted win rates versus play rates for 22 decks to demonstrate which archetypes can be seen as the ‘kings’ in the current meta, and which decks can be labeled as ‘overplayed’ or ‘underplayed’.
The Y-Axis represents the win rate whereas the X-Axis represents the play rate.

Meta Kings: Fizz Samira. The archetype dominates the meta as the best deck, with one of the best matchup tables, making it a perfect choice for both ladder climb and tournament scenes.
Overplayed: Maokai Nautilus. Deep is in the top 10 most-played decks with a low win rate, which makes it difficult to climb the ranks. It has a 48.38% win rate across all ranks and a 45.73% win rate in the Master rank.
Underplayed: Garen Kai’Sa continues to perform well on the ranked ladder, but it has yet to break into the top 15 most-played decks.
Hidden Gems:

In the Master rank, there has been a recent surge in popularity for the Seraphine Samira archetype. This deck has various win conditions, including the value provided by Seraphine, Peddler Traps, and
The deck relies on a lot of removal cards to keep the board in check and prolong the game until Seraphine levels up.

Bard Garen is an Elite deck that has held a 55.6% win rate across all ranks. This Elite deck strategy is centered around swarming the board with units and buffing them up using Battlesmith, Garen, and Chimes. This allows Bard to level up quickly and deploy more resilient units that are difficult for opponents to eliminate.
